He fell at the arena last night while jumping off a step- the result is 3 weeks in a cast because of a fractured bone in his L ankle. No weight bearing till it is off, so we'll see how this goes!!! His siblings can't wait till it is set enough to color on- should be very festive looking when they're done.

My daughter has had many, many casts due to her condition, but to tell you the truth...
it never gets easier. It stinks. As soon as the other kids are doing something he can't...it won't be fun. Just thank The Lord that it wasn't in summer when you'd have to corral him away from sprinklers and pools

He also doesn't look terribly cold... it's snowing in the lower 48 right now!
Poor little dude! When Billy broke his wrist he thought it was great that hs could show off his cast, but M might be a bit young to get that part of it. Good luck keeping him off of it, that should be interesting!

Crazy how kids get so exited over a cast-coloring party. I used to WANT one just so I could have one of those parties in my honor. hee hee

Is it a waterproof cast like they put on Mini-Me??
Be sure to take pictures of the cast after it's been decorated.
