It was a beautiful morning, so I snapped some pics as we approached the ferry terminal. It is just a gorgeous view. I just wish all the light posts, etc, weren't in the way.
There is our ferry. We have a love/hate relationship with BC Ferries. It is very expensive to travel on even though it is an essential service to us locals.
This is "Honey"- as our 2 year old calls him- seems I must call him that a lot.
NEXT! This is my last pic with eye glasses.
Believe it or not, this was the best of 3- my husband refused to keep taking them so I could find a flattering one.

For all of you who are thinking of corrective eye surgery. It is a definite miracle! I am not done healing yet. PRK takes longer than Lasik. I was suprised by the level of discomfort and light sensitivity on some days, but in view of the fact that I will have 20/20 vision soon, how can I complain?

Okay - I have questions -
Was the procedure itself painful or just the recovery? What kind of pain - can you describe? I'd like to get it - I am so sick of contacts and glasses. Ugh.
Also - I was surprised when we moved to TX to find that the ferry here is FREE - you heard me - paid for by the highway department. Amazing - since the last time I had taken a ferry from Delaware to NJ it cost us around $75 - yep!
How expensive may I ask was your ferry ride?

I don't know what the ferry costs out there, but I was appalled by how much it cost to cross Conferderation Bridge to get to PEI. Apparently the ferry is just as expensive as the bridge.

And I can say that because I have asked Keith to take pictures of me and then rejected them because I did not like the way I looked.And then he looks at me like I am nuts. The truth hurts!
And I love that you took a before and after. At least you had an excuse. But you were still beautiful.
