Rich Mullins Hold me Jesus

I figured out my side bar problem, but had to erase my last post, as the video was too wide and pushed the sidebar to the bottom of the page. I love this song. If you don't have time to listen, please read the words...I think verse 3 was written for me.

Well, sometimes my life
Just don't make sense at all
When the mountains look so big
And my faith just seems so small

CHORUS:
So hold me Jesus, 'cause I'm shaking like a leaf
You have been King of my glory
Won't You be my Prince of Peace

And I wake up in the night and feel the dark
It's so hot inside my soul
I swear there must be blisters on my heart

CHORUS

Surrender don't come natural to me
I'd rather fight You for something
I don't really want
Than to take what You give that I need
And I've beat my head against so many walls
Now I'm falling down, I'm falling on my knees

And this Salvation Army band
Is playing this hymn
And Your grace rings out so deep
It makes my resistance seem so thin

CHORUS

You have been King of my glory
Won't You be my Prince of Peace

I LOVE Rich Mullins. His music is so incredible.
He has been with the Lord almost 10 years now. I know because within weeks of my son's birth. It seems he was too good for this earth.

I found the chords to this awhile back and play it on the piano often, singing the words with my playing. I LOVE this song and I desperately miss the true artist that was Rich Mullins(and still is in Heaven).

I learned how to play just the lead notes of this song on my musical keyboard. I played those notes and sung that song during a time when I needed peace in my life. I needed to learn how to forgive myself for something that I had done.

Rich Mullins taught me that we do not have to be good in order to be God's. Once we become God's, He makes us good. That was an important lesson to me.
