Interesting observation I made this week. We had my dear friend Anna, her husband, and 5 children come visit. They are taking a short trip for a few days and will be back tomorrow for about a week. Besides the fact that they are fabulous company and we are enjoying catching up, here is the big thing I noticed. It takes 2 women to keep this house clean!!! It was much cleaner with them all here. I was pretty suprised. You would think having 9 kids under the same roof would be chaotic. No, we put our older kids to work at times, and between us had this house organized. She cleaned my fridge right away. I totally knew she would if I didn't get to it before she did. Then she cleaned the boys room, floors, you name it. I will have to tell her to slow down a bit so she doesn't make me look too bad. Back to reality when they leave.
I told my hubby he needed to get a 2nd wife, but then changed my mind. I will remain his wife, we just need a really ugly housekeeper. Then I won't get extremely jealous and commit a crime of passion. You know how redheads are...

MmmmHmmm, one of Cinderella's ugly stepsisters would be good! How was the movie? Should I rent it and force my man to watc it with me?

My friend Lizbeth and I used to joke about that too - saying that we wished we were Mormon just because there would be a companion and someone to share the load with. She got snowed in at my house once for about 3 days - and it was great having two of us to take care of stuff.
Wow! Maybe that's the solution I've been looking for -- an ugly housekeeper. Who works for free. While I'm at it, I need a fairy godmother, too! I am so glad you stopped by from Coffee Mom.
