Beautiful Scandalous Night

If you have a moment, please sit and listen while reading the lyrics. It's a really beautiful song...

Words by S. Hindalong, Music by D. Daugherty

Go on up to the mountain of mercy
To the crimson perpetual tide
Kneel down on the shore
Be thirsty no more
Go under and be purified

Follow Christ to the holy mountain
Sinner sorry and wrecked by the fall
Cleanse your heart and your soul
In the fountain that flowed
For you and for me and for all

CHORUS:
At the wonderful, tragic, mysterious tree
On that beautiful, scandalous night you and me
Were atoned by His blood and forever washed white
On that beautiful, scandalous night

On the hillside, you will be delivered
At the foot of the cross justified
And your spirit restored
By the river that poured
From our blessed Savior's side

CHORUS

Go on up to the mountain of mercy
To the crimson perpetual tide
Kneel down on the shore
Be thirsty no more
Go under and be purified

CHORUS

This is an evidence that there is still good Christian music out there. I don't usually have the patience to sit through songs on the internet, but I'm glad I did. A great reflection to start my day. Thank you.

It is hauntingly beautiful and the lyrics are so powerful.

It always gives me chills when I hear it.

Nothing like a little company to get hubbies motivated to take care of some unfinished projects. Yeah company!
How nice it will be to have an extra bathroom. I know how that is.
Alas, my resolve to not eat sugar--bit the dust.
I have been really trying to watch not overdoing the food thing in general. I saw the scale inching up and it scared me. So I am adding that to m list of things when I get on my knees in the morning. I don't guess I can rightly ask God to use me but to over look my gluttony. :(
I am busy getting ready for our next conference in N.C. I had a little panic time when I realized we leave next Saturday. So My sister will e coming over this morning as we try to plow through some stuff.
Enjoy your company!

Hey there!
I am sure that the HP movie got its PG-13 rating for violence - it would probably be pretty scary for younger children.
Lemme just say I understand completely where you are - and if you don't have peace - you should definitely pay attention to that!

BTW - I love this song!
